Using state of the art video projection, incredible lighting, and a full live band THE SIMON & GARFUNKEL STORY is a moving and powerful concert featuring all the hits such as “Mrs. Robinson,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Homeward Bound,” “Scarborough Fair,” “The Boxer,” “The Sound Of Silence,” and many more — this is a show not to be missed!
The immersive concert-style theater show chronicles the amazing journey shared by the folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It tells the story from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the ‘60’s to their dramatic split in 1970. It culminates with the famous “The Concert in Central Park” reunion in 1981 with more than half a million fans in attendance.
Come join the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department on Saturday, February 1st as we travel down to the Emerson Colonial Theater in Boston to see the Simon & Garfunkel Story at the Emerson Colonial Theatre following a sold-out engagement last February!
The bus will depart from the Exit 8 Park & Ride which is located in 8 N Southwood Drive in Nashua at 12:30 and will get us to the theater for 1:30 pm; giving you some time to get something to eat before the show begins at 3:00 pm. Trip returns home for 7:00 pm. Trip includes Balcony Level ticket to the show in Rows A, B & C and luxury motor coach transportation.
This trip is open to both residents and non-residents so bring all your friends! All participants must be pre-registered and seats are limited and we are expecting to sell out quickly
