The Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to announce the return of our Canoe/Kayak Boat Storage Rental Program at Wasserman Park!
This program gives Merrimack residents the convenience of storing their boats right at the park—no more transporting them back and forth each day, and easy access to the water all season long.
Program Details:
Limited Availability: 19 storage spaces
Eligibility: Merrimack residents only
Cost: $100 for the 2026 season
Season Dates: May 22 – October 12, 2026
Lottery Information:
To ensure fairness, spaces will be assigned through a lottery system.
Lottery Opens: April 13, 2026
Lottery Closes: May 11, 2026 at 4:00 PM
Winners Notified: May 15, 2026
If any spaces remain after the lottery, they will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Important Notes:
One boat per assigned space
Participants must provide their own lock and chain
A marine sticker will be issued and must be affixed to each boat
